Andrew N Ferguson appointed as FTC Chairman

New chair replaces Lina Khan effective 20 January.

On Monday, January 20, Andrew N Ferguson was officially designated as Chairman of the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) by President Donald Trump.

Ferguson started at the FTC as Commissioner in 2024, and has now taken over the position as Chairman after the resignation of Lina Khan.
