Crypto poses money laundering threat to EU, watchdog warns

The EU has traditionally taken a cautious approach to crypto and has strong regulations governing the digital assets industry.

Europe’s newly established anti-money-laundering authority has warned that the growing crypto industry poses a serious risk of allowing dirty money flow in and out of the bloc, if not monitored properly.
