Cyber risk remained in the top tier of concern as regulatory risk slipped.

Financial services insurance brokerage Golsan Scruggs’s 2025 RIA Risk Survey reported that while cyber/privacy breaches remain the leading worry among registered investment advisers, concerns about wire fraud and social engineering have risen sharply.
