SIFMA says more than 90 participants tested its disaster prep plans

The testing involved simulated trading, post-trade activity, and regulatory trade reporting.

The US securities industry completed a successful business continuity test last weekend, the US Securities Industry and Financial Markets Association (SIFMA) has just announced.

The trade association reported that it ran an industry-wide stress test of firms’ disaster preparation and recovery plans on October 25, with over 90 participants.
