Shein fined €150m by CNIL for placing cookies without consent

The e-commerce platform failed to comply with the French Data Protection Act.

Infinite Styles Services Co Limited, the Irish subsidiary of the Shein group, was fined €150m ($175.7m) by CNIL (France’s data protection agency) for failing to comply with rules relating to cookies placed on users’ devices when they visit shein.com.
