FDA seeks experts and consumers for advisory committee roles

Agency launches nationwide recruitment drive to fill advisory committee vacancies and broaden scientific expertise and consumer input.

To recruit scientific experts and consumer representatives to serve on advisory committees that help inform key public health decisions, the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has announced a nationwide expansion initiative.

The FDA said it is seeking to widen participation on its advisory committees through a broad recruitment effort
