Atrium Health and Senior Living, former CEO sentenced for healthcare fraud and tax conspiracy

The sentencing follows guilty pleas to charges that include diverting Medicare and Medicaid funds for personal expenses and other purposes.

The US Department of Justice (DOJ) announced the sentencing of nursing home operator Atrium Health and Senior Living (KBWB-Atrium) and its former CEO for healthcare fraud and tax conspiracy charges.

The sentencing, which follows guilty pleas by both defendants, was administered in the US District Court for the Western District
