Elisa Forletta is a senior investment funds and regulatory lawyer with over 14 years of experience across EMEA, the UK, and the US, specializing in investment management law including UCITS, AIFMD, MiFID II, SFDR, EU Taxonomy, CSRD, and UK SDR. A qualified solicitor (England & Wales) and Certified ESG Analyst (CESGA®), she has built and led high-performing legal teams and served as a trusted strategic adviser to institutional asset managers, fund boards, and senior leadership throughout her career.
Most recently, Elisa served as Legal Partner at Zeidler Legal and Regulatory Technologies LLC in New York, leading US legal strategy for investment management and sustainable finance mandates. Prior to that, she founded and scaled Zeidler’s global ESG and sustainable finance legal division from the ground up. Her earlier career includes senior legal counsel roles at Invesco Ltd. across EMEA institutional and corporate legal functions.
Trilingual in English, Italian, and German, Elisa combines deep regulatory expertise with practical commercial judgment and cross-border agility, translating complex multi-jurisdictional requirements into workable frameworks for clients, regulators, and boards alike. She holds an LL.M. in Banking and Finance Law from the University of London and serves as an Advisory Board Member for Fondazione FiemmePER ETS in Italy.
