Rob Cutler is a senior financial crime professional with over 25 years’ experience across global banks, professional services, and specialist managed services firms. An ACA-qualified accountant, he began his career at Price Waterhouse in audit and forensic services, including a secondment to Cape Town focusing on complex financial crime investigations. Rob has held MLRO and Head of Financial Crime roles at Lehman Brothers, Deutsche Bank, Credit Suisse, and Legal & General, giving him extensive expertise across AML, KYC/CDD, transaction monitoring, sanctions, fraud, and regulatory engagement.
Rob spent seven years as a Partner at KPMG leading large-scale financial crime advisory and remediation programmes, before becoming Managing Director and Global Head of CDD at ING Bank. He is currently Managing Director and Chief Growth Officer at Nexus AML (formerly Efficient Frontiers International), where he supports major financial institutions through managed services, technology-enabled solutions, and strategic financial crime advisory.
