OPINION: Sustainability’s million-dollar problem

In order for companies to stay competitive and drive better sustainable outcomes, they need to align ISO standards with their ESG reporting.

The sustainability industry has a systemic problem. Boards are wasting millions generating data they already have for ESG reports, but they don’t realize it.

They’re duplicating processes. Re-creating data they already have. Wasting resources that could have been better used to improve sustainable practices rather than reporting on it.
