PCMA sues Illinois over prescription drug affordability law

The Pharmaceutical Care Management Association has filed a lawsuit challenging the State of Illinois’ Prescription Drug Affordability Act (PDAA), arguing that the state’s new restrictions on pharmacy benefit managers (PBMs) violate federal law and interfere with private-sector drug benefit administration.
