Canada Minister of Foreign Affairs announces more Russia sanctions under SEMA

Additions include 13 individuals, 11 entities, and 100 vessels from Russia’s shadow fleet.

Anita Anand, Canada’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, recently announced an increase in sanctions against Russia in response to its war with Ukraine.

Breaking the news on November 12, Minister Anand explained that the additional measures are designed to intensify economic costs to the Russian nation while weakening its military power.
