Commerce guidance details exemptions to 100% pharmaceutical tariffs

New Commerce Department guidance outlines narrow exemptions to 100% drug import tariffs, covering specialty therapies from 19 countries.

New guidance clarifying which pharmaceutical products will be exempt from recently imposed 100% import tariffs has been issued by the US Department of Commerce. The move creates carve-outs for certain specialty medicines and establishes pathways for additional relief.
