Bank collapses highlight regulatory gaps

Silvergate, Signature Bank and Silicon Valley Bank (SVB) have all collapsed in the space of a week, highlighting a number of regulatory failures and the fragility of crypto banking.

SVB was subject to a number of regulatory appraisals over the years for, among other things, violations of the Bank Secrecy Act and AML deficiencies.
