European court upholds $2.6 billion fine against Google

The ECJ has said the European Commission was right to fine Google back in 2017. Google denies any wrongdoing.

The European Court of Justice (ECJ) has upheld a decision requiring Google to pay a $2.6 billion fine for abusing its market power in relation to online ad services.

The original fine was levied by the European Commission back in 2017, which accused the global tech giant of misusing its market
