The charges were brought against two individuals accused of bribing energy officials.

The US Justice Department (DOJ) has announced that two Mexican businessmen living in the US are being charged with taking part in a bribery scheme to secure at least $2.5m in business with Mexico’s state-owned oil company, Petróleos Mexicanos (PEMEX) and its wholly owned exploration and production subsidiary.
