Amid calls of political favoritism, FDA continues to award national priority drug vouchers

In addition to questions from members of Congress, the program is facing scrutiny from medical organizations over whether it’s putting politics before science.

Just before the New Year, the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) awarded national priority vouchers for two investigational drugs for their “potential to increase access through affordability for American patients.”
