Danish furniture chain fined DKr 1.5m for GDPR failures

The company failed to delete customer data, and the judgment highlights the important practice of calculating fines of GDPR violations.

The Danish chain of furniture stores ILVA A/S has been fined DKr 1.5m ($234,198) by the High Court of Western Denmark for violating EU GDPR regarding data storage and failure to delete personal data.
