DOJ NSD grants first declination under new policy

The company avoided criminal prosecution but must still pay a hefty fine.

The DOJ announced that it has declined to prosecute Robert Bosch GmbH over export control violations involving Chinese tech firm Huawei, in a case involving failings by compliance staff as well as the disregarding of information from third-parties suggesting potential exposure.
