Last year, as part of the FINRA Forward initiative, FINRA hired two outside experts, former SEC Commissioner Troy Paredes of Paredes Strategies and Professor Paul R Eckert of William & Mary Law School, to identify potential improvements to FINRA’s enforcement regime.
