OCC drops $10m fine against Wells Fargo risk officer involved in sales misconduct scandal

The regulator removed the civil money penalty issued in January alongside a prohibition order for the executive.

A settlement waiving a previously established $10m fine against Claudia Russ Anderson, a former Wells Fargo community bank group risk officer, has been announced by the US Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC), according to Banking Dive.

The OCC had imposed the hefty civil money penalty on Anderson
