Key requirements:

  • FDMs must file a daily electronic trade report using NFA’s required filing system.
  • The report must include the information and follow the format required by NFA.
  • The report must be prepared by 5:00 p.m. ET and filed with NFA by 11:59 p.m. ET the same day.
  • Filing the report certifies that it is accurate and complete.
  • Late reports are subject to a $1,000 fee for each business day they are overdue.
  • NFA may take disciplinary action for missed deadlines, even if the late fee is paid.
