DOJ and USPS make first whistleblower payout, awarding $1m in car auction fraud

Used vehicle platform EBLOCK allegedly failed to immediately take action against illegal activity including shill bids and elimination of competition at an acquired company.

The US DOJ’s Antitrust Division has teamed up with the US Postal Service (USPS) to reward a whistleblower with $1m for exposing an alleged case of used car auction fraud. The payout is the first to be made from the Whistleblower Rewards Program.
