New York State legislators have moved closer to regulating AI chatbots that provide advice under the guise of licensed professionals.
Senate Bill S7263, recently approved by the Senate Internet & Technology Committee, would prohibit AI systems from presenting themselves as doctors, lawyers, therapists, or other credentialed experts.
