OPINION: Compliant comms are a basic requirement, not an additional responsibility

Compliance expert Julie DiMauro argues that new DOJ policies about messaging apps bolster compliance’s standing.

On April 5, the FCPA Blog published a post by Billy Jacobson about new Department of Justice (DOJ) policies regarding communications made via messaging apps and devices. Jacobson said he believed these policies “could threaten the more important, everyday work being done by compliance departments”.
