Privacy group noyb files complaints against TikTok over alleged tracking of Grindr and shopping data​

nyob has asked the Austrian DPA to impose an “effective, proportionate and dissuasive” fine under the GDPR.

Digital rights advocacy group noyb (None of Your Business) has filed two formal complaints against TikTok with the Austrian Data Protection Authority (DSB), accusing the video-sharing giant of unlawfully tracking user data across third-party applications and failing to provide users with complete access to their personal data.
