US House advances INVEST Act and other capital formation bills

The INVEST Act seeks to expand access to capital for small businesses and modernize the accredited investor definition, among other things.

The US House of Representatives has just passed a bipartisan capital formation bill, the Incentivizing New Ventures and Economic Strength Through Capital Formation (INVEST Act) of 2025, in a 302 to 123 vote.
