UK toughens stance on children’s use of phones and social media

Latest moves focus on keeping children safe online and encouraging healthy habits when using smartphones and social media.

The UK government has announced tough new measures aimed at improving the way children use their phones and ensuring their safety and wellbeing on social media. They include Ofsted inspections to ensure schools are not allowing students to use their phones at any time during a school day.
