Human rights due diligence remains a challenge for Danish financial firms

New benchmark report shows challenges in turning human rights commitments into action, with pension funds outperforming banks.

The Danish Institute for Human Rights, Denmark’s independent state institution responsible for promoting and protecting human rights, and the EIRIS Foundation have published a new benchmark report on how selected financial institutions are living up to international commitments on human rights, now partially codified in EU legislation.
