European Commission consults on guidelines to support CSDDD implementation

The Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive introduces mandatory environmental and human rights obligations for certain large EU and non-EU companies.

A public consultation on the development of guidelines to support companies in implementing the Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive (CSDDD) has been launched by the European Commission.

The CSDDD, together with the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD), was part of the Omnibus I, the first among many EU initiatives
