Perfectus Aluminum and affiliated warehousing companies have agreed to pay $549.5m to resolve longstanding False Claims Act allegations that they knowingly evaded, or conspired to evade, more than $3 billion of antidumping and countervailing (AD/CVD) duties. The businesses allegedly avoided these fees on $880m-worth of aluminum extrusions imported from China.
