The Justice Department’s Corporate Enforcement Policy offers declinations for companies that self disclose misconduct and cooperate with investigators.

The US Department of Justice (DOJ) has announced its first declination of criminal charges against a healthcare company under its new corporate enforcement policy, reflecting a broader effort to encourage businesses to voluntarily report misconduct and strengthen compliance programs in exchange for leniency.
