FIN-FSA updates principles for determining penalties and fines

Finanssivalvonta is calling the updated principles “more precise” than before.

The Finnish Financial Supervisory Authority (FIN-FSA) has updated its principles on how it determines the size of penalty payments and administrative fines. The last update took place in 2022, and the authority says that the changes reflect established practices, noting that the updated principles are “more precise than those published previously.”
