Telehealth platform sued for deceptive health info, and billing practices

Federal regulators and two states claim company charged prematurely, hindered cancellations, and shared sensitive information with advertisers.

A coalition led by the Federal Trade Commission, joined by Utah and California (through Los Angeles County Counsel), has filed a federal lawsuit alleging that a popular telehealth platform engaged in deceptive and unlawful practices involving consumer health data, billing, and subscription cancellations.
