OECD’s 2025 sustainability report signals new era for corporate governance

Companies are disclosing more information than ever before, yet the quality and ambition behind these disclosures remain uneven.

Corporate sustainability has moved from corporate social responsibility departments into the center of business strategy. The latest Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) report shows that by 2024 most publicly listed companies already provided some form of sustainability reporting, which marks a significant expansion in transparency.

The trend reflects a
