The FCA has imposed a penalty of £1.53m ($2m) on Crispin Odey for breaching Individual Conduct Rule 1, in accordance with the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000. This prohibits Odey from performing functions related to any regulated activity.

On September 14, 2026, the Tribunal upheld all five of the FCA’s allegations.
