Swish now operating under direct supervision by the Swedish FSA

Sweden’s popular instant payment service needs to comply with current risk management and anti-money-laundering rules.

Getswish AB, the company behind the popular instant payment service Swish, has been granted a license to operate as a so-called clearing company. The new license puts Swish under direct supervision by the Swedish Financial Supervisory Authority, Finansinspektionen (FI).
