Metropolitan Police secure successful conviction after seven-year investigation with CPS, NCA and international cooperation.

On November 11, 2025, the Metropolitan Police announced that a man and woman had been jailed for their roles in a multibillion-pound fraudulent Bitcoin scheme. This followed the successful conviction of these two individuals following the world’s largest crypto seizure, currently valued at £5.5 billion ($7.2 billion).
