CSA updates cybersecurity guidance for registered firms and seeks stakeholder input on optimizing securities regulation for public companies.

On July 15, the Canadian Securities Administrators (CSA) published a staff notice focusing on registered firms’ cybersecurity practices and additional guidance. On July 16, the CSA issued a consultation paper seeking comment on potential ways of modernizing the regulation of securities for publica companies.
