DFSA makes Dubai firms responsible for assessing crypto token suitability

The Financial Services Authority wants to move responsibility onto firms, and has published guidelines on what criteria they should follow for determining token suitability.

In a major update to its existing crypto rules, Dubai’s financial regulator has announced firms that provide financial services involving crypto tokens will now be responsible for assessing whether the tokens they offer meet the regulator’s suitability criteria.
