Dog bites gorilla: Telehealth company admits to patient data scheme

A telehealth company has admitted to falsely representing itself as a healthcare provider to obtain information from electronic health records (EHR) to pass on to law firms, according to a lawsuit brought by Epic Systems and other healthcare provider plaintiffs.
