UK’s CMA investigates hotel chains for suspected unlawful data sharing

The probe will focus on whether some chains shared “competitively sensitive” information with each other, leaving other businesses in a disadvantaged position.

The UK’s CMA has launched an investigation into suspected unlawful data sharing among three of the main hotel chains in the country. A data services provider is also being examined in relation to the same case.

Among those being investigated are Hilton, including Hilton Worldwide Limited and its ultimate parent
