PSR can impose cap on international transaction fees, UK High Court rules

Regulator says international transaction fees have risen unduly since Brexit, with a negative impact on UK businesses and their customers.

The UK High Court has ruled that the country’s Payment Systems Regulator (PSR) has the power to propose, and impose, a cap on fees that payment services providers charge customers and businesses for transactions between the UK and Europe.
