China raises concerns over “serious security issues” with Nvidia chips

Tech experts are sceptical about the Chinese claims, and flag opposition in both Washington and Beijing to the export of US-made chips to China.

US AI chip manufacturer Nvidia has been summoned by Chinese officials over concerns that the company’s AI chips may be tracking locations and could allegedly shut down the technology remotely.
