ESMA, the EU’s financial market regulator and supervisor, has issued a second thematic note on sustainability-related claims, focusing on ESG strategies such as ESG integration and ESG exclusions.

These strategies are used by market participants for entity-level decisions, structuring financial products, and in marketing communications to retail investors.
