FCA proposes deferral periods for cryptoassets regime

FCA’s quarterly consultation on rules amendments features changes aimed at reducing regulatory friction for firms engaging in novel markets.

In its recently published Consultation Paper 26/32 (CP 26/32), the FCA is proposing an amendment to the readily realizable security (RRS) definition, providing clarity that fractional shares meeting some of its conditions can be marketed to all retail investors without the additional requirements that apply to restricted mass market investments.
