UK financial regulators begin overseeing critical third parties

Latest designated CTPs include Amazon Web Services EMEA SARL, Google Cloud EMEA Limited, Microsoft Ireland Operations Ltd, and Oracle Corporation UK Limited.

The UK’s financial regulators are now directly in charge of overseeing some of the major cloud services providers in the country after they were designated as critical third-parties (CTPs) by the Treasury last week.
