ASIC fines global bank $1.3m for systemic trade reporting shortcomings

The regulator said the breaches happened between October 21, 2024, and August 15, 2025, and undermined the integrity of Australia’s financial markets.

Australia’s securities regulator has imposed a A$2 million ($1.39m) penalty on Deutsche Bank for allegedly misreporting more than 260,000 over-the-counter (OTC) derivative transactions.

The penalty was levied in connection with failings that took place between October 2024 and August 2025.
