UK Accelerated Settlement Taskforce publishes 2025 progress update

The UK began its journey towards a T+1 settlement cycle back in 2023. The official transition will take place on October 11, 2027.

The Taskforce responsible for the UK’s transition to a T+1 settlement cycle has said a majority of industry participants have now begun internal processes in preparation for transitioning to a new cycle. The announcement came in the Accelerated Settlement Taskforce’s (AST) annual review for 2025, which was published last week.
