ASIC roundup: $14m fine for ASX, regulatory updates, plus more

The Australian Securities and Investments Commission’s latest actions and news, June 30-July 9, 2026.

We start this week’s roundup with a major enforcement action which saw ASX Limited (ASX) ordered by the Federal Court to pay a A$20.5 million ($14.2m) penalty for its misleading statement about the progress of its CHESS replacement project.
